МЧ - Type of the gear motor;
80 - Distance between axes, mm;
20 - Reduction ratio;
50 - Output shaft speed, r/min;
1.5 - Capacity of electric motor, kW;
51 – Assembly configuration;
1 - Version of worm-and-worm gear placing;
Ц - Version of output shaft end;
У3 - Climatic version and category of placing according to GOST 15150-69.

Note
The version of output shaft end can be: МЧ-40, МЧ-63, МЧ-80 — cylindrical (Ц), hollow (П); МЧ-100, 125, 160 - tapered (К) (standard execution), hollow (П), cylindrical (Ц) (coordinated additionally by order).
