Air coolers

Questionnaire for order of air coolers;

Air coolers are meant for water-cooling of air circulating in closed circuit cooling of large electrical machines of direct and alternating current: electric motors, hydrotreaters, exciters, and electric energy converters.
Air coolers of the cooling systems of electrical machines can be used in the plants of power engineering and plants of other branches, where the large electrical machines are used.

Air coolers are produced in climatic versions UHL and O, category of placing - 3 or 4 according to GOST 15150-69.

Specification, overall and fitting dimensions of the air coolers are agreed by order.

Note:
1. Runoff – total content of ammonia, hydrogen sulfides, nitrites etc.
2. Suspensions – fractions of mineral and organic origin (mechanical impurities).
3. For water MV2, MV3, MV4, MV5 – content of chlorides has not to be more than 2000 mg/l regardless of the total salt content.

 

Climatic versions and category of placing:

UHL – for macroclimate areas with moderate and frigid climate.
O – for all macroclimate areas overland, except the macroclimate area with very frigid climate (general climatic version).
3 – for use in enclosed spaces (contents) with natural ventilation without artificial regulation of climatic conditions.
4 – for use in spaces (contents) with artificial regulation of climatic conditions (in enclosed heated or cooled spaces).

 

Reference designation of air cooler type by order:

VO-375/2510-F-N-UHL4, (TKLU.065177.033), TU 3393-004-73426865-2008, where:

VO – air cooler;
375 – nominal heat flow, kW;
2510 – distance between the pipe walls, mm;
F – flanged version of air cooler;
N– version of cooler depending on cooling water characteristics;
UHL – climatic version according to GOST 15150-69;
4 – category of placing according to GOST 15150-69;
TKLU.065177.033 – designation of main engineering document.
