Oil coolers series МО

 Water oil coolers MO are meant for industrial electrical equipment, they are installed inside. Water oil coolers are constructed for cooling of oil, circulating inside closed systems of generators, electric motors, hydraulic equipment (presses, machine tools, compressors, etc.), refrigeration plants.

Primarily they are used for cooling aviation oil, turbine oil, diesel oil and other non-aggressive liquids that do not corrode aluminum alloys, with a temperature of not more than +70 ° C, and an outside air temperature in the range of +1 - + 550 ° C. The cooling liquid is the technical water from industrial water supply systems, with temperature of + 5 + 300C.


The basis of the MO oil cooler is a pipe system with fins (tube bundle) placed in the housing. Water chambers of the cooler are equipped with branch pipes for supply and discharge of water. There are hinges for lifting and transporting.

Material of the housing and water chambers - stainless steel and corrosion resistant alloys - brass, nickel silver, etc. Pipes are made of stainless steel, brass, titanium alloys, finning - aluminum.

The choice of material for the oil cooler is determined by the water on which it will work: fresh (H version), mineralized (M.M2) or marine (M5). Oil coolers of M5 category are made of alloys, the most resistant to corrosion and aggressive environments.

The principle of operation of the oil cooler MO is like of any heat exchanger, to transfer heat from a warmer substance to a less heated one. In this case, from oil to water. Water, flowing through the inlet pipe, passes several cycles, cooling the oil, and exits through the outlet branch pipe. Thanks to the rib system, the heat exchange area is significantly increased, which makes the oil cooler work efficiently.

Oil coolers are manufactured in climatic versions of УХЛ and O, the category of placing is 3 or 4 according to GOST 15150-69.

Technical characteristics, overall and mounting dimensions of oil coolers are agreed by order.

Note:
Runoff – total content of ammonia, hydrogen sulfides, nitrites etc.
Suspensions – fractions of mineral and organic origin (mechanical impurities).
For water МВ2, МВ3, МВ4, МВ5 – content of chlorides has not to be more than 2000 mg/l regardless of the total salt content.
 

Climatic versions and category of placing:

УХЛ - for macroclimate areas with moderate and frigid climate.
Т - for all macroclimate areas overland, except the macroclimate area with very frigid climate (general climatic version).
- for use in spaces (contents) with artificial regulation of climatic conditions (in enclosed heated or cooled spaces).
